Specimens preparation and examination in FES
Prof. Masaharu Motokawa (Project Investigator), Dr. Bui Tuan Hai (Project Member), and two project assistants (Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngan and Mr. Vu Kim Luong) spent 6 days preparing and examining specimens collected since the last field survey in Phou Den Din NPA in November–December 2023

Specimens and Discussion
Prof. Masaharu Motokawa, Dr. Bui Tuan Hai, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngan and Mr. Vu Kim Luong have prepared skull samples from the 2023 field survey at Leng Su Sin, Muong Nhe Nature Reserve, Dien Bien Province, for further research
Additionally, during the introduction by Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh Nam, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Biology at VNU University of Science, Prof. Masaharu Motokawa and Dr. Bui Tuan Hai had a significant opportunity to discuss future cooperation with Assoc.
